How will I get my flu shot?

• You can get your shot during a regularly scheduled lab or doctor’s visit (when you will already be in the office) between October 1 and December 1.

• You can get your shot during a weekend flu shot clinic between October 1 and December 1.

Why October 1-December 1? CVS offers it in August!

The best protection from your flu shot is in the 6 months after you receive the shot. Get it too early and it may be less effective later in the season. Wait too long and you may be unlucky and get severe influenza in November. We typically see significant flu activity in this area between January and April.

No “walk-in” flu shots will be available. 

Scheduled Flu shots will allow us to offer a safe environment with physical distancing between patients.

Flu Clinic Appointments are currently being scheduled. Clinics will run through the end of November. If you have not heard from us by October 31, 2020, please give us a call.

If I prepay now, how will I get reimbursed?

Your insurance will be billed after you receive your vaccine, so be sure to schedule your appointment!
